Invrsion with partner Varjo brought professional-level VR to Euroshop 2020

For the first time, Invrsion attended Euroshop, World’s No. Retail Trade Fair. The Trade Show has been a success, with 2300 exhibitors from 57 nations and 94000 visitors from a total of 142 countries travelling to Düsseldorf from 16th to 20th February to gather information on retail trends, products and concepts displayed across 16 exhibition halls and 8 fascinating dimensions of retail.

Invrsion’s stand at the Shopfitting and Store Design Hall 11 attracted many visitors interested in getting to know how Virtual Reality could impact their business activities. Not only store design and remodeling, but also category management and trade marketing, communication and promotional activities contextualization, shopper research. All through an easy-to-use Software as a Service solution, Shelfzone, to go from the management of retail projects to their immersive visualization in Virtual Reality.

Visitors could experience in first person the realism of Invrsion’s immersive simulations on human-eye resolution VR-2 Pro headsets by Varjo.

By simply wearing the headset, visitors could enter a VR-simulated supermarket designed by Invrsion, move freely around, pick up products, read their labels in tiny details, and even turn some displays into a promotional area with a simple click. What mostly surprised visitors was not only the sense of realism of the experience itself, but the possibility to “translate” the experience in their daily business with a concrete added value to their activities.
